First thing you have to understand is that I am not a minister. My best guess, however, is that if the opportunity arose for you (ie you were aware of the ideas of Christianity) but you rejected it, then you are probably condemned. Not 100% sure though. Ask your local minister if you're really interested.ResurrectionRooney wrote:OK, but lets say I can't believe, or I believe in the wrong thing through an honest mistake, why does me sinning warrant unimaginable pain?

How is it fair that rejecting ideas because they don't seem plausible warrants eternal punishment? How is it fair that you deserve eternal punishment for your ultimately inconsequential sins?

Basically Christianity is (if a Christian chooses to believe it) everyone who doesn't believe in god will be punished my him.
But how can a "non believer" be punished by something/someone they don't believe in?

How can they not?
If I dont believe in a car, does that mean I can't be run over?

Comparing a car to God. Makes sense.

Re: Chat Thread
Truth is, I don't think it would be the responsible thing as a Christian to answer a question that I am not sure of. I would wager it has to do with God's creating the world and giving us so much, and then we go against his good work by sinning.ResurrectionRooney wrote:xPeterLFC95 wrote:Like I said, ask your local minister if you feel so passionately about this.ResurrectionRooney wrote:xPeterLFC95 wrote:First thing you have to understand is that I am not a minister.
