Watched the 1st series, didn't get the hype around it and gave up. I liked 1 character in it but that was it.

Stolen is such a strong word. I prefer to call it reverse engineering. It helps when the guy who created the series actually was the one who endorsed the American one and still stars in it.
@Jamie: There is this guy who has mental issues and instead of seeing his neighbor's dog as an animal, he's sees it as a man in a dog suit.

Ramble, Ramble, Ramble, you stole it and you know it, at least you kept the same person in the dog suit (Probably the creator, I don't keep up with the actors names )

I found it easier to just copy and paste the details of wiki, don't hate me
Lie To Me - Pilot Episode
In the show, Dr. Cal Lightman and his colleagues in The Lightman Group accept assignments from third parties (commonly local and federal law enforcement), and assist in investigations, reaching the truth through applied psychology: interpreting microexpressions, through the Facial Action Coding System, and body language.]
Suits - Pilot Episode
Mike Ross is a brilliant college dropout. Mike's childhood dreams of becoming a lawyer are derailed after unforeseen circumstances lead him to drop out of college. Naturally intelligent and with an eidetic memory, Mike makes a living taking tests for other people, particularly LSATs and bar exams. Harvey Specter is one of New York City's top attorneys and has recently been promoted to senior partner at his firm and is forced by company policy to hire an associate. After accidentally running into Mike, Harvey is impressed by the younger man's quick wits, his encyclopedic knowledge of the law, and his genuine desire to be an attorney, and hires him. Due to the fact that Mike lacks a law degree, and because of firm policy which favors Harvard alums, they both pretend that Mike is a Harvard graduate.
Of the two, I found Suits more entertaining but as I said previously it's only in its first series, so if you want something with a bit of longevity then Lie To Me has 3 series.

Sounds...weird
I'll check it out though, need a new series until Dexter is back.
