I know... I've never seen him say anything positive. Not even on EA in the season we finished 2nd. What turned you so dull Jamie?Mc Babel wrote:I've never see you say something positive about the team.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Predictions for tonight? Arsenal game too.
Can't see us conceding, but that may depend on the team we put out. I'm going to say 2-0 to us. If we score an early goal, it could be more.
Arsenal will probably sneak a 1-1 draw thus winning 2-1 overall.

I can see Pacheco leaving us permanently next season, Either staying at Atletico or another Spanish side.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Don't know if this interview has been posted or not.
Sebastian Coates has confirmed that he would reject a move to Manchester City in favour of joining Liverpool.
Both Premier League clubs have made moves for the Uruguayan central defender, who is currently playing in his homeland with Nacional.
The 20-year-old revealed earlier this week that he expected a decision to be made on his future by the weekend.
Now Coates has confirmed that Liverpool would be his preferred destination, mainly due to the influence of compatriot Luis Suarez, who is currently at Anfield.
"I'd prefer Liverpool to Manchester City, but would need to see what they have to offer and would compare them," Coates told Ovacion.
"But having the help of Luis Suarez would be very important. I will be going to England, we are just missing a few details now.
"The Liverpool offer ticks all boxes, so fair to say it's a done deal. Luis's success is important for me as another Uruguayan joining.
"Liverpool is a club with great tradition and history, and Luis would be a great help to me. Suarez has spoken to Kenny Dalglish and his managers about my signing.
"He said it will be great having a Uruguayan with him, we chatted for quite a while, as he is someone I know well."
Coates shunned offers from elsewhere in Europe and admits he was waiting for the Premier League.
"My intention was always to wait, there were many rumours that I wanted England, but nothing concrete. Fortunately we have now received the offer," he said.
Coates, who has Scottish ancestry, does not qualify for a work permit automatically as he has not played in enough games but he would almost certainly be granted one on appeal.

He probably is, I mean he's come on here a few times at like 5pm saying 'just woke up' which says a lot about his life. Probably doesn't actually get out, that's why he's so depressed and angry all the time.

Because we know who is to blame already. He's dragging up the old debate again that was settled a long fucking time ago. No surpise after he opened his gob, the callers flooded in talking about drunken fans etc. He's a fucking moron.
No suprise though, this is the same guy that said 'Can we get on with the match now?' after the Justice protests against Arsenal in the FA Cup a few years ago.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
What if, when the documents are revealed (if they ever are) there is proof that Liverpool fans were to blame, or partly to blame? What would actually happen then? Is it even possible?
I remember reading somewhere that it was the Liverpool fans that were being protected by not disclosing this info. Probably bullshit though. But it makes me think, what WOULD happen if it was true?

Perfectly ok everyone around Liverpool realises that, It only needs to be heard because the full evidence wasn't given.

Why would the government block details it if took them out of blame?
We already know what happened, the Taylor Report covers that. The documents are about the aftermath of Hillsborough and how everything was dealt with after the disaster.

Hypothetically though, what do you think would happen?

Nothing can happen, We'd just get alot of backlash from media and supporters.

Oh right, I thought you didn't know who was to blame and you wanted the truth from that petition, is it a fact who was to blame, or opinion?Dan wrote:kyro7 wrote:What's wrong with that?Dan wrote:"let people decide who was to blame, and if some Liverpool fans are to blame they too have to live with their conscience"

Frank will still start for Chelsea and I doubt Drogba will be on the wing.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Since when does Gervinho play behind the striker? Arshavin and him should be swapped, I'd even go as far as taking Walcott out of that team and putting Ramsey in with Gervinho and Arshavin out wide. Of course, I believe we will sign another creative midfielder to replace Cesc, so it's all irrelevant.

But he never plays there.. Ever.. He's started on the bench for the last 2 games and started on there for plenty of pre season games. Lampard will always have a place, Anelka is most likely to play ahead of Drogba.
