I can understand Aquilani's reasons for leaving to be honest. He wants to play first team football. Any player would do the same given the situation he's in.

We had no choice. He doesn't want to sit on the bench here and Milan looks like it was the only option for Aquilani to play regular football. Milan probably knew the situation and took us for a ride.

Update on Aquilani to Milan
- His agent is in Liverpool negotiating with the club
- He says he will stay in Liverpool until deal is done (maybe today)
- Offer remains loan with obligation to buy after a set number of games (I'm reading 20 but some are saying 25)
- Fee is 8 million euro, not 6 as it was reported before
- But it seems Aquilani may want some kind of compensation to make up for some of the lost wages (he's losing around 5-6 million in 3 years)
We are paying him to leave, FFS. Worst transfer ever. 18 million for a handfull of games, while we pay him to go out and loan. Can´t wait till he is gone.
