Bellamy will probably be the best option we could hope for as back up at the moment. There's not that many strikers with his ability that will be willing to come in and play back up. Plus he's versatile and can play on either wing. Good option to have in the team imo.

Did well at the Copa America for Uruguay from what I've heard. Whether we get a work permit for him in time is another question.

Hardly seen anything of Coates outside of Copa America but he looks good, 20 as well, assuming he's as good as I'm lead to believe he'd be a fantastic signing, what kind of price are you looking at here?

Exeter are on a bad run at the moment. So if we put a decent side out we'll probably smash them.

    Dalglish accepts Carroll blame

Enrique-Downing combination to provide striker with service

Carroll: The England international has scored just two goals in 11 appearances

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has attempted to deflect responsibility away from Andy Carroll after the £35million man's disappointing start to life at Anfield. The former Newcastle striker moved to Merseyside in a record-breaking January deal, but arrived with a thigh injury and later picked up a knee problem.

DalglishLiverpool FC Official Thread - Page 13 Spacer has admitted he was at fault for rushing CarrollLiverpool FC Official Thread - Page 13 Spacer into action and the England international was clearly not fit when debuting as a substitute in March's 3-1 win over Manchester United.Liverpool FC Official Thread - Page 13 SpacerBut Liverpool'sLiverpool FC Official Thread - Page 13 Spacer boss thinks the time to judge the 22-year-old, who has scored only two goals in 11 appearances, will be when he is 100 per cent.

"Andy's fitness is an improvement since last season, because he was never really fit when he came here," said Dalglish.

"We pushed him in probably earlier than we should have last season and it wasn't particularly fair on him.

    Ammunition

"We were a wee bit unkind on him and asked a bit too much of him. This season he certainly looks a lot fitter.

"Andy is just 22. Every time he'll play, people will ask if that's the best he can be. But you never stop, you always want to improve.

"The best time to judge him will be when he's fully fit."

Meanwhile, Jose EnriqueLiverpool FC Official Thread - Page 13 Spacer has pledged to work with Stewart DowningLiverpool FC Official Thread - Page 13 Spacer to provide Carroll with all the ammunition he requires.

"I'm hoping we can provide some good service for Andy, who is a great English centre-forward. In the air, he is the best I have ever seen - almost unplayable," said Carroll's former Newcastle team-mate."When the game is maybe a little bit frustrating, because you can't score a goal, you can cross to him and he can score from anywhere. Andy was brilliant like that at Newcastle."

Carroll hasn't been that bad to be fair. He would of had two goals in two games if they weren't unfairly ruled off by shite refs.

Don't see what all the bullshit is about him under preforming either. He's never gonna be a £35M striker and be as prolific as Torres was, people need to bare that in mind when they make a judgement on Carroll.

Ben Smith just tweeted that Coates Dad/Agent is in talks with both us and City. Can't see us signing him with the financial muscle City have. The only hope we have is Suarez convincing him to join us.

I can't see him signing for you with the Champions League Football or potential to win trophies that City have.
