He's a decent player who can have a couple of occasionally good games, But he's not consistent enough which is why he finds it hard to even get in the celtic team. To be quite honest, I don't actually think he is good enough for any PL team.

Might improve with better players around him. Wouldn't want him for first choice, just as cover.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Kenny Dalglish says Liverpool's owners have urged him to continue spending in the transfer market.
Almost £50million has left the Anfield coffers during the close season in bringing Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam, Stewart Downing, Alexander Doni and Jose Enrique to the club.
Fenway Sports Group chiefs John Henry and Tom Werner presided over Saturday's opening day draw with Sunderland, during which four of the Reds' new boys made their senior debuts.
And Dalglish claims that the Americans have insisted that there is no pressure to offload players before adding new players to his ranks ahead of the close of the transfer window.
The Kop boss also believes that his side's deceleration against the Black Cats was a result of a pre-season engineered towards sorting the wheat from the chaff within the squad.
"I’m not under pressure to sell," he told the Liverpool Daily Post.
"We are under more pressure to get somebody in.
"The owners have been fantastic and there is no pressure in any way, shape or form."
He added: "We had to be fair to everybody we have on the books and we gave them all a reasonable opportunity to get themselves fit and to prove they were worthy of a game.

If we could sign say two more players a CB and a striker? who would you choose. I'd have Cahill and Sturridge.

Dream choice would be Cahill and Osvaldo/Sturridge. But it will be Dann/Shawcross and someone.

Linked with him in January. £40 and Sturridge for Torres.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Got a feeling this Bueno kid will play some games; if not it will be a fucking travesty if Pacheco doesn't get games.
Apparently we have stopped negotiations with Bolton over Cahill as they value him too high (even though we have been paying silly money for players), I reckon they have valued him at £25-30m easy.
If City get him and Arsenal get Dann (who I hope we get) I don't know what options we have available. Unless we invest in another position as we have Carra, Agger, Skrtel, Kyrgiakos and Kelly to play CB. All we would need is cover at RB/LB then.
It will be interesting to see what pans out between now and the closing of the transfer window; especially since we seem to ave unlimited money coming in without necessarily having to sell.

I don't think Shawcross would be a bad choice, he is a good centreback in fairness, he's just rash.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Good luck Bolton wanting £25-30m. One year left on contract, and he should go around for £17 million.
Fuck having an other rash player at the back.
And that Bueno kid, looking forward to see him play.

He wanted to play premiership football, at least for a season or more.

Lad on another forum reckons Comolli and crew are on their way to Spain. He doesn't know if they're buying or selling. If true my bet would be Pacheco is off.
