Casc won't be in the Arsenal team next week.

So there is a positive. ( shifty ), he normally plays good against us.

Yeah Dan, I just think Kenny might give him a rest next week, he looked really tired yesterday. That's not my personal team what I'd pick, just thinking Kenny might go for that, also think Kuyt might come back into the team (he's a big game player) and Henderson will probably make way. I could be wrong though.

Can see what you mean with Lucas, but I think we'd probably see Meireles over Spearing, if we decide to rest Lucas that is. Agree with you on Kuyt, think he should be a nailed on starter every week. He's vital to the way the team works.

Meireles and Adam in the middle? Couldn't see Kenny going for that against Arsenal, Jay had a great game their last year, just playing in front of the back 4. Me personally, I'd throw another midfielder in and go 3 in midfield and match Arsenal. I'd be tempted to go with.....

    Reina

    Johnson-----Carragher------Agger------Enrique

    Lucas---Adam

    Meireles

    Downing--------------Carroll--------------Suárez

I'd have Meireles over Spearing anyday. Would be a perfect game for Aquilani to play in mind.

Perfect game for Aquilani? Nah, for me, Aquilani does his best work when on the ball, we're not gunna' out pass Arsenal so I don't think it'd be the best game for him, that's why Meireles got the nod ahead of him, purely for the fact, Meireles gives you that extra work rate, he's not as good on the ball as Aquilani, but he's better off it, you need that against Arsenal. I think Aquilani would be chasing shadows if I'm honest, I'm not a fan of him defensively, at all, I'm not Meireles' biggest fan defensively, but one thing he'll give you is work rate.

Aquilani's defensive work is very underrated. Look at Meireles last season, he wasn't exactly putting his body on the line. Aquilani played a more defensive role for Juventus last season and he's shown that he's no fairy. Played Aquilani would take a bit of pressure off Suarez to supply Downing and Carroll. Why can't we play Lucas, Aquilani and Meireles? I think that would be a well balanced team.

I think, Aquilani will be off by the end of the transfer window anyway.

    Lucas -- Meireles
    Aquilani
    Suarez ------------ Downing
    Carroll

I think that could work, if he stays.

Van Persie to score next week. Suarez to get injured. Carroll to get angry and start shouting like he always does.

We're going to lose 2-0. Then we will draw the Bolton game 1-1. After that Stoke will hold us to another draw, then we'll lose to Spurs before finally winning a scrappy game against Wolves at Anfield.
