Yes ive done some crazy shit like that before, but the best one must be in 2005. I taped the Liverpool v Chelsea 2nd leg on a video tape that was used by my x girlfriend, and she had her date of birth on it which was 7.7.80, and the 80 stickers had fell of leaving just 77 which as you no was the first year Liverpool won the European cup.OMG And the fact it was the late Emlyn Hughes who lifted that trophy in 77, and the year before had past away. Maybe the great Emlyn Hughes was up there helping us at half time in Istanbul, but if i had noticed this at half time in that final i would not have believed this, but after the comeback it makes you think.Liverpool FC Official Thread - Page 15 214775

So Arsenal will be without Gervinho next week, and if the FA take action on what Song did he will also be banned.

It's actually very interesting that the likes of Carragher have a better pass rate than Adam. But complete understandable since Adam is the one pinging it about and creating stuff. Good stats by Henderson and Enrique too.

Just watched the highlights, can't believe Carroll's goal was disallowed. He barely brushed Ferdinand, who leaped like a dolphin out of water. That would have made it 2-0 and pretty comfortable. Mad

When you put your arms on a defender it's often going to be punished, might not be right but that's the way it is.. that little touch could have been the difference between Ferdinand clipping the ball or not, who knows.

Ferdinand was nowhere near the ball, he jumped too early and he knew it. That's why he went down, as a last gasp resort in trying to prevent a goal by getting a foul.

Carroll should have never used his arms then.

He hardly did. His arms were already out to balance himself. Why don't you watch it again.

Do you have a link? I saw it this morning and to me it looked like he put his hand into Ferdinand's back and slightly moved him, and Ferdinand wasn't that far away from the ball, maybe I saw it wrong but I want to see it again.

The Carroll goal should have stood. I didn't really see a lot in it and felt it was a soft one.

Cheers Alan, for me he got it right, when you see him jump up you see how that push moves him out.. I don't think it should have stood, Carroll is a fool for doing it.

Re the last man decision, although it's not listed in the Laws of the Game, if a player isn't running in the direction of the goal referees are directed by the Premier League not to send players off if the player isn't running in the direction of the goal, that's why Phil Dowd didn't send off Vidic in the 2010 Carling Cup Final. Luis Suarez dived to try and cheat Liverpool into a man advantage, and he got what he deserved.

from where the ref was standing it looked like a foul, wouldn't say it's foolish, it just a reaction (grabbing onto someone to get leverage when the balls in the air).

Carroll would have been brilliant when you could actually use your strength without being penalized every time

The game shouldn't be about purely strength though, that's why teams like Germany always beat England. You shouldn't gain an advantage from shoving your opponents, that should be discouraged.

he got clipped and over-exaggerated the fall, he would have got there before the keeper if it wasn't for the tap.
