The deal should be confirmed after the Sunderland game, with Ngog to be used as part of the deal. #LFC

I just read that tweet about starters. Why wouldAquilani not even be in the squad? And why would Spearing be starting?

If Spearing is starting, surely he is next to Lucas? And there's no point in playing that defensive.

If Spearing starts i think its only to give Lucas extra time off because of the Copa America. And if Aquilani is not starting or even in the squad, well that says it all to me, he's off unless he is injured.

We benefit in no way from selling Aquilani.

Think of it this way. If we sell him now, we get what? 8 fucking million

If we give him a chance and he impresses, we either have a good ballplayer on our squad, or we get more money when he's shipped back to Italy? There's no point in not giving him a chance.

Yeah, that's the risk reward. At this point, the possible benefits from him succeeding are greater than the possible faults, should he fail to impress. And he's an Italian international, we would never sell him for 3 mill.

Wouldn't work like that. £8m is probably his lowest possible value.

I think you should give him a chance. He's a good player. But he's Italian, and they aren't always that great abroad, he may just be unhappy at Liverpool, I think you should cut your losses.

If he Aquilani is not happy and wants out, sell him. But if not i would be happy to see him getting a chance, but he will not be happy if he is not playing and even worse if he is not included in the Squads. But lets wait and see what the squad is for tomorrow, and then we will certainly have a better idea whats going to happen with him.
