Nervous about tomorrow. Part of me thinks we'll rip shit up. Part of me thinks we'll struggle, as we usually do on the first day.

Liverpool FC table £12million offer for Bolton's Gary Cahill
by Richard Buxton. Published Sat 13 Aug 2011 00:25, Last updated: 2011-08-13
Liverpool have reportedly tabled a deal worth £12million to Bolton for Gary Cahill.
The 25-year-old has been tracked by the Reds for several months as Kenny Dalglish looks to bolster his defence before the close of the transfer window on August 31.
Jose Enrique arrived at Anfield yesterday, on the eve of the new Premier League season, and centre-back Cahill is expected to be the final piece of Dalglish's defensive jigsaw.
Back-up striker David Ngog is alleged to have been offered as a makeweight in the deal for the England international, with the Trotters previously said to be keen on his services.
Owen Coyle has previously conceded that Cahill, who enters the final year of his contract at the Reebok Stadium, will only be sold for what he described as "the right fee".
Liverpool had previously considered offering Birmingham defender Scott Dann a return to his home town club but the Championship club's high valuation put paid to their interest.
A move for Ryan Shawcross was also mooted but appeared unlikely with Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson understood to be guaranteed first refusal on the Stoke City captain.

I actually fear for him in our skin tight kit. He might suffocate before he even kicks a ball.

But he is going into the last year of his contract, and Ngog is also part of the deal, if its true. Just like Enrique, he was in his last year and Liverpool got him for a good price.
