It's true, I've seen people blow thousands away through gambling, The bloke who used to own the pub near us spent everything on it and had to sell his business, Gambling is very addictive and it's funny how I never see a bookies in "upper-class" areas, yet there is 3 on my estate alone, They target the poor.

I never said it was all the bookies or that poor people gamble more I just disagree with the fact that Bookies target poorer areas/ Like I said my estate has 3 betting shops on it This is just one small council estate not a huge region, Yet when I am around more wealthier areas of Oldham It is quite rare to find a betting shop. They are targeting vulnerably people and the consequences of a gambling addiction can be devastating to a family. The story I mentioned about the Landlord for example, His wife and kids were the ones who suffered not just the man himself, personally I think he is a dick for what he has done, I am not blaming the betting shops at the end of the day he was the one stupid enough, Like I mentioned I just disagree with the way they target people.
