so many areas that needs covering yet you go and waste money on a player that wont come good for atleast another 3-5 years
Man united need a new midfielder and possibly a new RB but what do they do, they waste £19mill on a Jones (19 y.o) when they already have vidic, Rio, Smalling etc.
It's amazing how all Man United fans have selective memory.
we sold Oshea and Brown.... and with Rio who is injury prone that signing was needed and it was a good one. also Smalling is being played as a RB recently so obviously fergie knew that
last point, man utd and arsenal arent the same... we are not the ones that havent won a trophy in 5 years
Ye we are selling Bendtner, Vela will probably go on load and Walcott is injury prone that's why we need Chamberlain. So why are you talking about spending money on a young player when Man United have just brought Jones and brought another winger who they didn't really need?
As for the trophy draught I really couldn't care tbh, at least I have the balls to support my team when they're not winning unlike you who just glory hunts Man United.
the trophy draught comments wasnt about you caring lol
its about arsenal as a club, you may not care but the manager, players and staff do. they should be realizing by now they need experienced players, we are adding youth to a winning side where they will have enough time to grow while the club is still winning things. where as at arsenal the young players are becoming the main focus of the team which results in what has happened past 5 years
Wenger should be buying to win trophies, not building for the future. seeing as the current team isnt good enough

And like I said don't really care tbh, we still play champions league football every year and we still challenge for trophys. I'm happy to support my club unlike you who would fuck off as soon as Man United went shit.
Also I find it quite pathetic that you completely change the topic and starting taking digs at Arsenal just because I out smarted you and you can't admit that you're wrong,

No it's because you're a fucking idiot who doesn't know anything outside of Man United or the football basics.
If you was an Everton fan for example I would have a good discussion with you but you're another Man United glory hunter who has nothing better to do than wind people up.

Inadequate answers are given when inadequate questions are asked. What do you expect? It's been discussed so many times before, no one cares.

no i said if he got sacked then he would have deserved it what with him being so stubborn and not fixing glaring/obvious faults in the team for 4 years

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Anyways onto something that matters.
Read yesterday that Chamberlain is aiming for a spot in the England NT. Nice to see the lads got ambition, hopefully he gets his head down and works hard. He's got the potential from what I've seen of him and what I've read for it to happen.
Be interesting to see how much 1st team action he gets this year.

Wouldn't be surprised with the injuries we've got if he made the bench. Reckon he could get some game time too depending on the score.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
People will always be fickle, they slate us for not getting English talent, we go get the best young Englishmen available of getting in the country, once we do they slate us for doing so.
This is why Wenger is stubborn. Rather us getting a talented youngster with the clear mind and the urge to improve himself for £7 million with it rising to £12 million if he fulfils his potential rather than spending £20 odd million on say a Stewart Downing, again no offence to Liverpool fans it's just the player that popped into my mind.
Buying British comes with a premium but that's a good thing, £7-12 million might be steep, but if and when he turns good his price tag will sky-rocket, we'd be asking for sums like £50-60 million and other English clubs, bar Man City, won't pay it and clubs like Barca and Madrid will get ripped off if they want to buy him, they can't use the DNA thing either.
Any updates on us agreeing a fee with Gary? I feel if we sign him we'll be set for anything if Cesc/Nasri don't leave.
