Don't think so. Wenger commented some time before that match that we already had 4 center halves for next season (Vermaelen,Koscielny,Djourou and Squillaci) and Jenkinson aswell.No mention of Bartley for this season. I think Wenger wants him to get first team football after all he is just coming back from that injury. The new deals obviously for the future.

Well he's definitely shown that he is more than up for it, He played in a few Old Firms and he was quality in every one of them. Never made a bad move and even got stuck in.
