Hes done well with what little funds hes had available to him and a very small squad with key players always geting injured aswell for him to get them into the top half of the table every season is an accomplishment. However i do think he is slightly over rated everton fans label him as one of the best managers in the premier league Laughing

So if this guy is such a good manager, why is he never even spoken about for a job like Chelsea, which has come up 6 times in his career.

Spoken about in the media, sounded out by Chelsea, spoken about himself, nothing.

Means nothing if he is spoken about in the media. Clueless bunch of half wits.
Not an Abramovich type of manager.

Gary Neville said Chelsea should go for a Premier League proven manager like Moyes the other day. The Moyes Delusion - Page 4 279869

The media have contacts, if a guy is being seriously thought of for a job, the media find out. A lot of them are made up completely, granted, but you never see a manager just come completely out of the blue with no prior knowledge.

I can't comment on David Moyes' ability, as i do not watch Everton regularly, nor do I attend his training sessions and pre match briefings. Even if the previous was satisfied i have no experience of other managers within a similar environment to compare. What a stupid thread.

Arsene Wenger makes David Moyes' spending look erratic. The Moyes Delusion - Page 4 3925848005

But yeah, he's done fairly well for a man that can only spend about 1M a season on players. Wenger consistently kicks his ass though.

According to the figures, he nett spends 1M a season. On average he buys players for 8M a season, of which 7M is covered by player sales.

Large individual out goings offset that.

    Man United rofl

Love how it's impossible for RR to say that United > Liverpool now.

Bet he didn't think that would happen in his wildest dreams.

I didn't get the notification, which is weird, because my phone is normally like a vibrator whenever United get beat and Leo retweets my original anit-Moyes stuff to thousands of thick scousers and faux scousers.  Fair enough, I expect it's you.

I'll check the forum when I'm bored for the foreseeable future; currently I spend most of my time at work staring at a screen with a very vague pretence of trying to look busy so that'll be an awful lot of time but you never know when that might change.  I'm starting a new job at a top technology company in September so it's likely to change then, certainly.

I assumed there had been some sort of ban amnesty - nobody contacted me to tell me I was allowed back on - but maybe I'll log in one day and find someone has changed their mind.  That said I don't think there'd be much point in banning people when there are about 5 members left.
