The media have contacts, if a guy is being seriously thought of for a job, the media find out. A lot of them are made up completely, granted, but you never see a manager just come completely out of the blue with no prior knowledge.

I can't comment on David Moyes' ability, as i do not watch Everton regularly, nor do I attend his training sessions and pre match briefings. Even if the previous was satisfied i have no experience of other managers within a similar environment to compare. What a stupid thread.

Arsene Wenger makes David Moyes' spending look erratic.

But yeah, he's done fairly well for a man that can only spend about 1M a season on players. Wenger consistently kicks his ass though.

I don't know how long I'll be able to keep posting, last time, my account got randomly banned. (By a bitter forumite who was given power, I suspect).

I'll check the forum when I'm bored for the foreseeable future; currently I spend most of my time at work staring at a screen with a very vague pretence of trying to look busy so that'll be an awful lot of time but you never know when that might change.  I'm starting a new job at a top technology company in September so it's likely to change then, certainly.

I assumed there had been some sort of ban amnesty - nobody contacted me to tell me I was allowed back on - but maybe I'll log in one day and find someone has changed their mind.  That said I don't think there'd be much point in banning people when there are about 5 members left.
