I guess we won't see him with a better team, looks like Arsenal are not willing to splash the cash.

Kelly, Robinson and Flano looked composed on the ball all the time. Simple passing among the back four, and simple along the floor passing to get the ball out of danger. They don't look scared, or try to hide but they still have a very long way to go. Agger just brings calmness to the defense. Keep him injury free and that will be a big big bonus.

Bring him on second half when we're winning 3-0. Give him a good run out, start him against Arsenal.
Ideal situation.

Bench.
Just bringing him on will boost everyone.
Carroll is getting sharper and fitter every game.

How confident are you lot that we'll start the League campaign with a win?
Question for Jamie (or anyone else who follows the La Liga) .. Was that Valencia side stronger than the Sunderland side we'll be facing?

Yes it is. Though Sunderland shouldn't be underestimated. Need to keep an eye on Sessengon. Thanks for asking.

Valencia are well behind Liverpool on their pre season, and i think Sunderland will be up for the game but i think Liverpool will win.

I reckon Suarez will start on the bench, and he'll get like 20 minutes or 30 minutes at the end to play

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Henderson does a good job on wing, but he's much more effective in the centre, very intelligent player, great footballer. Problem is, can he get in centre at the moment? I don't think he can, which is why Kenny's got him on wing. But with Johnson's attacking ability and Kelly's ever improving forward game, it gives him license to move inside and he was doing that yesterday. I don't think at 21/22 he's quite ready play in the centre on a consistent basis for us. He's lacking experience to play there. I'm happy with him on the right though, he's very useful to have in the team, he's all over the place and always makes himself available.

People have been giving Henderson a bit of stick recently. I've been impressed with him in pre season.

People forgot he is no where near the finished article, and still young and learning.
