My friend, in all fairness that was a friendly match as far as Man utd were concerned having already wrapped up the league title comfortably, the red card was the most shocking decision of the season and not to mention the creative template and engine of Manchester United in Dimitar Berbatov was not fit to start the match.

If I recall correctly, Man utd outplayed Liverpool for the majority of the match even with 10 men, Liverpool just resorted to traditional negative football with the odd counter attack, even against 10 men

My friend you have just posted a load of bollocks, because even though United had games to catch up at times, after Liverpool won at Old trafford Fulham beat United in their following game, and Liverpool kept the pressure up on United by winning most games. And at the end of the season United won the title by 4 points, so i would not say that was totally comfortable or that they had the League title wrapped up comfortably before Liverpool won 4-1.

And as for the game when Liverpool did win 4-1 United went down to 10 men and from that free kick Liverpool scored to make it 3-1 so what the fuck would you expect most teams to do when 3-1 up and playing against 10 men.

Is that why Fergie stopped speaking to the media (Again), because he knew it was all over. But i think you will find that at one stage if United did not get that dodgy penalty against Spurs, and ithey did not come back from 2 nil down, Liverpool could have went top at one stage on Goal difference and could have put the pressure on United even though they had a game in hand to play or it was something like that, one result could have changed the title race and put heavy pressure on United who were involved in a lot of competions at that time.

United dropped 5 after the Liverpool defeat and won the title by 4 Points, so i would not say it was comportable or was rapped up before Liverpool won 4-1 or certainly not after Liverpool won and Fulham beat United in their following game, so as i said Liam was posting complete Bollocks(Again) And if you think that was comportable well so are you my friend.

We were effectively 10 points clear because we had a game in hand against Wigan. If we had lost to Spurs and Liverpool had gone top (Liverpool actually did go top a few times) it would just have been an illusion because we had yet to complete our fixtures.

Anyone know whats up with Skrtel. mate just text me and said he could be out for 4 months. didnt even know anything was wrong with him in the first place
