My friend, in all fairness that was a friendly match as far as Man utd were concerned having already wrapped up the league title comfortably, the red card was the most shocking decision of the season and not to mention the creative template and engine of Manchester United in Dimitar Berbatov was not fit to start the match.
If I recall correctly, Man utd outplayed Liverpool for the majority of the match even with 10 men, Liverpool just resorted to traditional negative football with the odd counter attack, even against 10 men
