Modric was class against Fulham

Not exactly the hammering I was hoping to see...usually when I go to the Lane I see a lot of goals (e.g. 6-4 vs Reading )....but the win was deserved.

Aaron Lennon needs to not be so greedy because he was taking on some chances when others probably would've scored had he laid them on (i.e. Jenas).

Not great to see Hutton get injured but I think Corluka is a better player all around and he did well....I'm sure he'll want to hold onto his starting spot now.

VDV didn't really get in the game much....perhaps he was tired though as I said Modric bossed the game and was top quality.

Main constructive criticism I'd put forward is that there needs to be more concentration...maybe some more passing practice...as there were a lot of sloppy/lacklustre passes that could've cost you points. Main offender was Palacios and it's not the first game either tbh. Also Pavlyuchenko needs to stop being so sluggish on the ball. Works the channels well though. Also "Ay ay ay, Luka Modric" is the worst chant I've ever heard. It doesn't even rhyme

I would ax Palacios in the starting lineup and start Jenas any day. Far and away been better for us this season. Palacios has just gone downhill.

You are right about Corluka, even though Hutton has been class. Vedran links up with Lennon so well, as we saw after he came on. Becks better give Lennon some pointers on his final ball!

Aargh! I really wasn't that impressed by that team though. Would have had more effect if you had just not put the keeper in the team to be honest haha!

I am happy that we are only 3 points behind Arsenal though. If they slip or even have a hiccup in a game, they'll know we're right behind them waiting.

Rumor is....we are interested in Luis Suarez. Not very surprising, but I wouldn't mind if we signed him although Edin Dzeko is always my first choice. Probably just papertalk though.

Rumors have been going around for months that we are interested in Suarez. Just glad that we are I've always wanted him, because it never has seemed like we'll get Dzeko.

Correct, Birmingham are in talks with you guys.

I'll take £7m for Keane. Can go in the pot for our big world class striker, I'm hoping for Suarez personally. Also looking like Beckham will be ours (on loan) and I read could be done by Friday evening. Still not sure on that one personally but if he does a job, either on the field or off the field or both, then it was the right choice.

Not confident for tonight's game against Everton. Never am, but I think we'll at least get a point but I'm hoping for a win.. maybe 1-1, or 2-1 to Tottenham.

Hopefully Bale is ok. It wasn't a smart move to take Lennon off once Bale was forced off. We had no width at all at the end of the game.

That is why I don't see what Kranjcar offers. Crouch should have been off.
