Not exactly the hammering I was hoping to see...usually when I go to the Lane I see a lot of goals (e.g. 6-4 vs Reading )....but the win was deserved.
Aaron Lennon needs to not be so greedy because he was taking on some chances when others probably would've scored had he laid them on (i.e. Jenas).
Not great to see Hutton get injured but I think Corluka is a better player all around and he did well....I'm sure he'll want to hold onto his starting spot now.
VDV didn't really get in the game much....perhaps he was tired though as I said Modric bossed the game and was top quality.
Main constructive criticism I'd put forward is that there needs to be more concentration...maybe some more passing practice...as there were a lot of sloppy/lacklustre passes that could've cost you points. Main offender was Palacios and it's not the first game either tbh. Also Pavlyuchenko needs to stop being so sluggish on the ball. Works the channels well though. Also "Ay ay ay, Luka Modric" is the worst chant I've ever heard. It doesn't even rhyme
