That is something that the most avid of La Liga fans cannot deny, no matter what statistics they attempt to use to disprove my comment.

You make up a First XI from La Liga and a first XI from the Premier League, who's is better? Well this has already been done and they won the World Cup without their two best players. You make a squad of 23 and who's is better? La Liga's pretty comfortably. They have 2 of the best strikers in the world, the best winger in the world, 3 or 4 of the top 5 midfielders in the world, the 2 best defensive midfielders in the world some of the best defenders in the world, 2 of the best 3 right backs in the world, the best left back in the world and the best goalkeeper in the world. The strength in depth of RM + Barca shits on the Premier League unless you're having squads of 50 or more.

This is the major problem without the top 2 in Spain though. The rest of the upper league pales in comparison when you compare it with the Premier League.

If you were to remove the giants of Real Madrid and Barcelona from the equation, you would have a significantly weaker side in the end.

If I were to do the same with the top 2 of the Premier League, the team would still be very impressive: with Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool all having top quality players.

I'm not denying that the La Liga team would still be good, but let's put it this way, it would be a team, that loses Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Casillas, Pique and many other players who play for the big two.

I thought you had stopped infesting this forum with your shit opinions you fucking parasite. I saw you bitching about me getting banned for not as long as you, do you know what the reason was? Because I contribute to this forum, I am an indispensable member, and you are a cockroach who should be squashed. I hope this helps.

Now, you tell me, why would you remove the best teams from La Liga and the Premier League is you are comparing them? It is the sort of ridiculous shit I expect from you. It is like asking 'Who is better at boxing, David Haye or Wladimir Klitschko?' and then answering it 'Klitschko, but the problem with him is that he has more reach. If you cut both men's arms off David Haye would win because he has a stronger headbutt'.

I see where this is going. "BPL's top 4 are stronger because when you eliminate Barcelona and Real Madrid the BPL's top 4 are better"

If that's the case BPL's top 4 are not stronger than La Liga's top 4, BPL's 3rd and 4th teams are better than La Liga's 3rd and 4th teams.

Teams outside the top 2 in La Liga still have quality players. Neutral

Llorente, Soldado, Javi Martínez, Rossi, Borja Valero, Santi Cazorla, Mata, Navas are a few examples.

The first part of your post is completely off-topic. It removes itself from all common sense which this world possesses in the modern day, which is unfortunately not a lot.

The second part makes no sense whatsoever and if I was to describe it as anything, I would call it revolting. Why would you cut off the arms of a human being who has not negatively affected you in any way at all.

If you do that it comes up as 2-2.. from 1st to fourth..

    Barca > United
    Madrid > Chelsea
    Valencia < City
    Villarreal < Arsenal

And I'd take La Liga's based on the fact Barca and Madrid are better than all four of the EPL teams.

I dont understand how people can say that Madrid are better then all the EPL teams, the only EPL team Madrid played last year was us and we are shit. It would be interesting to see Man U match up against Madrid. I think Man U are the 2nd best team in the world, not Madrid.

    Barca >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> United
    Madrid >> Chelsea
    Valencia <<<< City
    Villarreal < Arsenal

I think city could give Madrid a good fight.

    Epl wins Suspect

If it was like the best 11 players then la liga would win.

Madrid lost to some shit sides last year and everytime they got a chance to prove they were as good as barca they played anti football because they were scared. All I am saying is it hard to judge them because they havent played Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, or City in a big competition yet.

Atlético Madrid, Villarreal, Valencia, and Sevilla are no fucking joke, they could give anyone in the EPL except for Chelsea and United one hell of a match, even in the 2006 CL, Arsenal with fucking Henry met with Villarreal and it was a close tie.

Barca is clearly better than everybody. Real Madrid appears to be better than Chelsea at the moment. In fact, I'd argue that Real Madrid is a tad better than Man Utd but it is hard to say. Real Madrid beat Barca last year but they also got smothered by them. And then they were close in the other 3 meetings, so I would say they are a tiny bit better than Man Utd, which definitely makes them better than Chelsea. The next two teams are slightly in favor of the Premiership but I think the gap between 1s and 2s is bigger than the gap between the 3s and 4s. Thus, I'd pick the Spanish.

I agree with Fluffy. Utd would probably beat Madrid. The team of last season anyway. You cant just compare starting XI's and say this team will win or that team will win.

if ur not comparing starting teams then how are you comparing them? you basically destroyed yourself with your own arguement, someone can easily say that madrid at least have registered a competitive win against barcelona while man u had that chance as well but didnt do it. that is surely the only barometer to compare if your not comparing personell which would be ridiculous to just dismiss as well

btw, not only does Real Madrid have a better starting XI, they have a better bench in some respects as well. The only part of the squad where Man Utd is better is on the defensive line. Real Madrid is better or at least equal everywhere else.

My friend you have to consider tactics as well. I don't quite understand what you mean by registering a competitive win against Barca?
Arsenal and Hercules for example have done this so by using your logic does this mean these 2 teams are superior to Man United ? No.

At the end of the day there's no guaranteed outcome so we can only assume but my point being you cant just compare starting xi's like some people on here like to do there's other factors.

what kind of tactics do you speak of

arsenal has no relevance as this is a comparison between madrid and man u and the only competitive match comparison that can be done is against opposition that both team played against - barcelona

you already dismiss player person-ell which is silly but if you discount these 2 then explain how and why do u beleive that man u would "probably beat madrid" you havent even explained why and your only thing mentioned that is even close to a reason is that you said "you just have to assume" which is just a cop out

you have no way possible to prove that man u "will probably beat madrid ". u cannot dismiss a legitimate arguement like madrid having better players then man u by saying that "tactics" is your reason as you have not even explain why such tactics would determine a probable win for man u

I think tactics are a push. There are brilliant tacticians running the show for both teams. I think anybody who thinks one team would clearly smash the other must obviously be compelled by bias. The teams are pretty close and it would be a tight game. I hope we see it this year.

La Liga easily, if you look at the current squads, GOING BY STRONGEST LINE-UP.

    1. Barcelona
    Valdes
    Alves - Piqué - Puyol - Abidal
    Busquets
    Xavi - Iniesta
    Pedro/A.Sánchez - Villa - Messi

    2. Real Madrid
    Casillas
    Ramos - Pepe - Carvalho - Marcelo
    Xabi - Sahin
    Di Maria/Özil - Özil/Kaká - Ronaldo
    Benzema/Higuaín

    3. Valencia
    D. Alves
    Miguel - Rami - Costa - Mathieu
    T. Costa - Banega
    Piatti - Mata - Pablo
    Soldado

Although I don't know if that midfield would work but that team could beat Man City, if you disagree you either overrate Man City or Underrate Valencia.

    4. Villarreal
    Figure that yourself

Its a shame because you are constructive but you are as thick as pig shit facepalm
