Which leagues top 4 is the strongest?

BPL - Manchester United, Chelsea, Manchester City, Arsenal
La Liga - Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia, Villareal
Bundesliga - Dortmund, Leverkusen, Bayern, Hannover 86
Serie A - AC Milan, Inter, Napoli, Udinese
Ligue 1 - Lille, Marsielle, Lyon, PSG

Personally, I think overall, BPL's top 4 is the strongest, but I think the top 2 in the La Liga would both dominate all of the top 4 in the BPL, Bundesliga, Serie A, and Ligue 1.
I also think that overall, La Liga has the second strongest top 4, then Serie A, Bundesliga, then going onto Ligue 1.

Opinions?

I think EPL is more competitive than La Liga but that's only because of a lack in quality.

If all the teams in the top four merged together and played each other EPL would win.

EPL on a whole but if you were to make a starting eleven from each top 4 Spanish XI would merk ours.

That must be why the Premier League has had so much success in the UEFA Cup in the last 10 years.

Team by team EPL is stronger than the La Liga, the difference between the EPL's 3rd and 4h placed teams and the La Liga 3rd and 4th placed teams is bigger than the difference between Madrid/Barca and United/Chelsea.

But player for players, La Liga reigns supreme.

I don't understand the reasoning on why the BPL top 4 are better than the La Liga top 4.


If La Liga's top 4 has more combined European cups than the BPL's top 4 in the last 10 years doesn't that mean their top 4 is better than the BPL's top 4?

You make up a First XI from La Liga and a first XI from the Premier League, who's is better? Well this has already been done and they won the World Cup without their two best players. You make a squad of 23 and who's is better? La Liga's pretty comfortably. They have 2 of the best strikers in the world, the best winger in the world, 3 or 4 of the top 5 midfielders in the world, the 2 best defensive midfielders in the world some of the best defenders in the world, 2 of the best 3 right backs in the world, the best left back in the world and the best goalkeeper in the world. The strength in depth of RM + Barca shits on the Premier League unless you're having squads of 50 or more.

This is the major problem without the top 2 in Spain though. The rest of the upper league pales in comparison when you compare it with the Premier League.



If you were to remove the giants of Real Madrid and Barcelona from the equation, you would have a significantly weaker side in the end.



If I were to do the same with the top 2 of the Premier League, the team would still be very impressive: with Man City, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool all having top quality players.



I'm not denying that the La Liga team would still be good, but let's put it this way, it would be a team, that loses Messi, Ronaldo, Xavi, Iniesta, Villa, Casillas, Pique and many other players who play for the big two.
