I don't think so, when a player is experiencing bad form we at least see glimpses of what he can do at his best - when Rooney went through this he still played well for the team, you could see he would get back to his usual self.

not BS, Torres' overall play for Liverpool was always generally poor (passing included) - he's very awkward (difficult to explain), there will be moments in a match where everything would just click for him and it would be absolutely amazing, during these moments he would score amazing goals.
These 'moments' do not seem to be happening at Chelsea.
