in my opinion from close examination of chelsea,. ivanovic would be world class if he was play central defence for the last 2 seasons. still when he plays there occasiojnaly for me he is best chelsea actual defender but chelsea as a team are not there to highten only 1 players potential, they must build an entire defence with all the players so they have to take advantage of fact that chelsea have better centrebacks then they do of rightbacks thus having to play ivanovic in rightback most of the time
benayoun is such brilliant player and maybe exxagerate to say he world class but he is such a good player and very very useful in so many positions but more important when he plays as number 10 player he is very devastating. liverpool should of never selling him last season and i truley think that benayoun season to shine coming up and he will be one of bnest players in europe this season if he does not suffer injuries
essien will never return to what he was his athleticism is not the same as it use to be. i make long topic about him last season that although he is technically very good, he is still not amazing technically and so its his athletic trait which made him such machine and best player of his type. but now he has lost his accelartion and his pace in general. he also lose a lot of muscle weight through injury, but also back to his tecnique, his technique also is much stranger, he not sharp like he used to be. people can say well he is just getting use to playing again but i do not think this is the case sadly anymore. he is not a young player anymore, he is not far away from 30. is pity
but lets see other then those 2 player i said maybe cech is world class he was brilliance last season but its first time he has such a good season for long time so you not know if this is just a one off or whatever
