I hate to disagree with Steve but I think this was the right choice. I mean, I like Bradly and I think he did a pretty good job but you get the sense that the team stagnated a bit and that it stopped moving forward. I don't think that is all of Bob's fault, it's way deeper than that but a new coach might do the team good. The worst that can happen is that the team takes a few steps back, but I think the risk is worth it. 
That's what I think anyways, of course Bob getting fired might just be US Soccer not knowing what else to do so they say fuck it, new coach.

The Mexico game is like two weeks away, doubt they would fire Bob w/o anyone to manage that game, yet again how do you bring in a new manager to manage that game either?

A few decent MLS years somehow guaranteed him a starting job in the midfield no matter how shitty he played in every single match he ever played for the NT. Would've preferred moving Spector or Kyle fucking Beckerman or anybody else into that role, Clark was a civilian out there most of the time, whenever we had good games it was because Clark was nowhere to be found but whenever he got involved it was over.

They tried to get klinsmann after WC 2006 AND 2010, but sunil wouldn't give up his power. So yeah Sunil has a massive hard on for Jurgie. Doubt he gave up the power, but really there was never another option.
