    Blackburn Rovers have today completed the signing of Scottish international David Goodwillie from Dundee United.

    The centre forward arrives from the SPL side for an undisclosed fee, signing a four-year deal with Rovers.

    Our defence seems strong on paper, but come on, it is weak, we can't just blame all goals conceded on Gomes last season, as horrid as he was at times. Our defence is shaky, and as Pilkz said Samba had the most blocks last season he really would help at the back for us, would do class along side Dawson, although it would be hard to see Gallas and King on the bench. I mean against Liverpool, Dawson and King were class, but we also can't rely on King for all 38 games of the season now, and for 10m Samba would be a class buy for our defence, then all we need is a striker to score the goals we desperately need.

    £18m, no, as class as he is, we do need a striker first and I'd rather spend that money before just so we don't waste it on the not so important area because who knows how much money we actually have to spend this season. I'm just saying at £10m he is a steal and would possibly seal up our defence.
