Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
MLS loses 4-0. we suck.
Columbus is up there in talent its just we have a coach who doesnt know how to use it. Not to mention all of our injuries to first XI players like Francis and O'Rourke, and now Hesmer and Tchani.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
The Western Conference seems so much better than the Eastern Conference, but that's my verdict from FM
The 4th Placed Western Side would have been 1st in the Eastern Conference on my save

Sunil finally grew a pair and fired Bob Bradley, I wonder who will replace him.

I really hope not, I hope the Ancelotti or Lippi rumours that Ives is reporting are true.

They were talking about Sigi Schmid (Sounders) or Bruce Arena (Galaxy). I hope Schmid loses some weight if he gets the job. Americans already catch enough hell for being a fat nation as it is. That guy has a whale belly, good coach though.

And here is the confirmation that it is Klinsmann. Don't worry about killing me now, I already have the gun locked and loaded.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
Aren't there other coaches who are willing to redo our youth system and what not. At least Replace Jurgen with Sunil or who ever is ahead of the youth system. I hope by not surprised, it is just somebody rumoured besides Klinsmann.

Because Sunil Gulati believes Klinsmann is the answer to all of his problems.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
How so? He's had one job as a manager since '06 (when he had home field advantage, Loew as his number 2, and plenty of other things in his favor), and how'd that one end up? There's a reason why no one else has offered him a job, and it's because he is not a good manager.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
bullshit, anyone with half a brain wouldn't make half of the squad choices bradley has made over the years, he is a horrible manager, lets just use the gold cup final as a perfect way to sum up his career, has to make a defensive sub so instead of moving Bocanegra over to the left or Lichaj or even fucking bringing on Johnathan Spector, he brings on bornstein and keeps the shape, takes off an in form Freddy Adu for Sacha fucking Klestjan, fuck me. the guy doesn't even use his weapons properly and that is what the international game is all about. If you think Bradley is so great i can't wait to see the job he actually gets offered. only league he is or could be successful in is the MLS and that is because of his knowledge of the college system.

I like klinsman but steve has put me off him in the past, just hope we can get an attack minded/posession manager who will keep the net wide (bob was great at finding us players.from all over) im nervous about this...

Bob wasn't the only person scouting out players for his squad selection. he had plenty of players to choose from that were known by him his staff. yet he always chose the wrong ones.

I was under the impression Bob Bradley was a good coach seeing as he guided the US to 1st place in the best group since the Beetles.

Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) Thread
We went to six tournaments under Bob Bradley, and played in four finals. We had no chance of reaching the '07 Copa America final with the squad we took, so it's more like four out of five. He's wasn't ever a great manager, but he did well enough with what he had at his disposal (1st in WCQ, 1st in group at WC,).

Tbf though, they were all finals you should have reached.

Confederations Cup?
And reaching the Gold Cup final fits that description, but there have been years that Mexico and USA have missed out. So it is not a given.
