It seems like most of the folks they have working on and promoting the game are British. I have yet to see an interview with an EA employee involved with FIFA who sounded Canadian.

Exactly. Do you think Dubai has the largest building in the world because they have the best construction talent? Fuck no. There's no such thing in the entire fucking world as an Emiratee engineer. My buddy is a PES fanboy just like you, so I have played the game for more than 2 games, regardless of what your mindless assumptions lead you to believe. I've also bought both games each of the last two years, and I also never said I'm thrilled with FIFA this year. It has a lot of bugs and issues that piss me off. So I'm not sure how that makes me a FIFA fanboy. But maybe if you weren't busy making such baseless assumptions you'd realize that it is possible for an objective person to disagree with the infallible LM_Punk.

I'll still probably buy PES 2011 because I want to check out the BAL mode and masters league in depth. Those are usually better than the career mode/manager mode in FIFA.

Agree manager mode is a poor excuse in Fifa, Clubs is the best thing though.....

I had both Fifa 10 and Pes 10.

I enjoyed Fifa's gameplay but Pes is more enjoyable for me. Scoring goals feels more real and authentic than Fifa. It's hard to explain to people who haven't tried it. Before I tried playing Pes, all I heard was bad things about Pes. But once you try it, you'll begin to see the aspects that are better than Fifa.

Master League is also 10x better than Career Mode. FACT
It might be more important for me though as my online connection is shite.

And PES Graphics are much better than Fifa. Have you guys seen the atmosphere in games? It's amazing. Animations are poor in PES? Play the game first before you make judgements.

PES also seem to have faces for even the "lesser-known" players...something that I have noted.

And with the patches and option file out there, licensing is definitely not a problem. I never played in the A-League or Polish League in Fifa anyways. I also like editing, an aspect that Fifa is inferior to PES. There are just so many more options.
