Agüero moving to City

Re: Agüero moving to City
City are going to be the Real Madrid of the PL. So unless another team becomes like Barcelona, we have no chance.
I think they'll beast the CL too.

Re: Agüero moving to City
Makes me fucking sick that we spent about 35 million on Young and Jones (maybe more with future fees) and City are getting Aguero for 39 million.

I agree, Ferguson was unlucky that they were English, still great move for City, can't wait to see him in the Premier League.

Re: Agüero moving to City
That's a pretty simple view on things. Aguerro will cost City £85m over 5 years. I assume Jones and even Young will be on modest wages in comparison.kyro7 wrote:Makes me fucking sick that we spent about 35 million on Young and Jones (maybe more with future fees) and City are getting Aguero for 39 million.
Same goes to those comparing Carroll and Aguero prices, Carroll deal will actually cost us £52m over 5 yrs so it's actually not comparable.

Because the players we bought were massively overpriced.Cameron. wrote:kyro7 wrote:Makes me fucking sick that we spent about 35 million on Young and Jones (maybe more with future fees) and City are getting Aguero for 39 million.

Young's wages are like 130k a week, plus Jones' and it's back to the same thing, I'd much rather have Aguero than them two.Fanatic wrote:That's a pretty simple view on things. It depends if you're thinking long term or short term. Most look at the immediate future, Arsenal fans do not.

Loool, didn't that derive from News of the World? that is 100 % a lie or you might as well shoot whoever negotiated that deal.kyro7 wrote:Because the players we bought were massively overpriced.Cameron. wrote:kyro7 wrote:Makes me fucking sick that we spent about 35 million on Young and Jones (maybe more with future fees) and City are getting Aguero for 39 million.

It's still embarrassing the fee's paid for these players.Fanatic wrote:Loool, didn't that derive from News of the World? that is 100 % a lie or you might as well shoot whoever negotiated that deal.

MCFC Manchester City FC
Reports that suggest @aguerosergiokun has gone off for lunch are true and the player will return to the Etihad Stadium later on #mcfc

Not really, Young's price is about right and if jones continues his performances 16m is well justified. Maybe slightly overpriced but not embarrassing.kyro7 wrote:It's still embarrassing the fee's paid for these players.Fanatic wrote:Loool, didn't that derive from News of the World? that is 100 % a lie or you might as well shoot whoever negotiated that deal.

People have said we've had too many strikers for ages, it's generally worked out though. I imagine Aguero and Dzeko will be first in the pecking order, depending on form, then Balotelli will come off the bench or play on the wing. That's assuming Tevez leaves.

We'll see I guess. If he does I imagine he and Aguero will probably be on the pitch together most of the time.

I think Tevez will hang around until January... if City are still in the title race at that time then I reckon he will see out the season

I don't think there's room for both tbh.
Not without playing 1 out of position anyway.

Just be like Everton and spend like 1 Million a year.
