But it's so much harder, I'm not laughing off Liverpool being in contention for a top 4 finish I'm just saying it's going to be extremely hard considering Chelsea and Manchester City are likely to be clubs you wouldn't have expected to stay there

I trust him personally. To be fair to him, he's lead the De Gea to Man Utd story for most of the second half of the season, he revealed it in March. And he's always stuck with it. We have a great record against the top four, once we sort out the pesky 'losing when all signs point to a win' we should have no problem becoming a dominant force again. Unfortunately that slight has dogged us for years.
