Suarez does more work around the pitch.....yet is as deadly in and around the box. I doubt that Van Persie would ever (though I don't he could anyway) contribute to all round play as much as Suarez.
Van Persie will get you goals.....but he won't carry Arsenal....which has been incredibly evident recently as his goals haven't done anything for Arsenal.
