Something intriguing for me is to see how they would do against Prem League bottom side. The Zaragosa's, Hercules (apart from that freak result), Almeria, Malaga etc have horrendous records against the Barca and Madrid Whereas the Prem lower teams have certainly produced some good results Vs Prem top teams.

That's because the top premiership teams are worse than the top Spanish teams.

Blackpool would beat Barcelona as Adam would stop them getting possession

Maybe thats the case but we have better quality lower teams.Fine Shagger wrote:Fanatic wrote:Something intriguing for me is to see how they would do against Prem League bottom side. I don't see it that way. Mid tier Spanish clubs always do better in the Europa League, lower down than that I don't see how you can compare but Spanish teams are definitely better on the ball.

Re: Hypothetical Question.
I'm talking about right at the knitty gritty part of the table, teams flirting or in the relegation zone. Maybe quality isn't the word but I think they are better.Fine Shagger wrote:Fanatic wrote:Maybe thats the case but we have better quality lower teams.Fine Shagger wrote:Fanatic wrote:Something intriguing for me is to see how they would do against Prem League bottom side. Re: Hypothetical Question.
1st and second this season, madrid have been poor enough other years.
Would be intresting to see, yes Stoke beat Bolton 5-0 but could they do it on a Warm Saturday evening at Barcalona?

Joking aside, it would be interesting to see how Barcelona would do against Stoke on a cold, rainy Tuesday night.

Stoke would get smashed.

I think the near relegation teams from both leagues are piss-poor and Polish clubs are better than them.Fanatic wrote:I'm talking about right at the knitty gritty part of the table, teams flirting or in the relegation zone. Yeah probably. But it would be an interesting game, two completely opposite sides against each other. And to be honest, Stoke aren't bad, probably better than some La Liga teams.

Re: Hypothetical Question.
I dont get why people even bring up Stoke, they wouldnt get near Barcalona to even smash them, they'd be exhausted by about 20 mins and have about 3% possession
