    Where does it come from.

I've regularly seen OF fans say they are one of the most supported teams in the world(especially when debating whether they should be allowed in the EPL, where they said the OF would soon rise to be like your Man Us, Chelseas, Liverpools etc).

    Why?

I could understand Celtic saying it when they had Nakamura, but now I don't see why.

The standard of football hardly sets the world alight.

The players are mostly failed top league players.

They are never anywhere in the revenue tables.

So, what is it that makes OF fans think Celtic and Rangers are known all over the world?

The Irish connection is pretty strong for Celtic, plus our CL trophy, not to mention our support and the fact we have a new Asian shifty

They are big clubs, they're just in a shit league. They draw in attendances of 50,000 every week. To watch shite teams like St. Mirren. That's impressive.

The reason they don't set to world alight, or have amazing players that will dominate everywhere else is to do with the standard of the league. If they were in England, they'd be right up there. If they were to come over now, the have to potential to be up there.

Scotland need to sort the league out, there's a lot of potential up there. Some of the best players to ever grace the English game have been Scottish. Coming from the likes of Celtic and Rangers.

There's no denying they are massive club, just stuck in a shite league.

    Very true.

But we still have those supporters.

How can we progress in a shitty league?

If we were in the PL we'd hav alot of money for tv rights etc.

I think it's also a lack of funds that is leading to them not being so successful on the european stage. Hasn't Rangers' chairman said they're in about £20m of debt? Surprised

They are. They may not be as good as teams like Man Utd, Barca, Real etc, but they are very well known.

The fans would. Celtic almost wen bust around 10 years ago and they put buckets outside the games which were quickly filled.

If we go down ... then the SPL comes with us.

How about instead of crashing a league from a country that has built it themselves, build your own league. PL didn't get how it is today by just saying "oi we wanna be the best give us it here".

On the contrary, I believe it would be the salvation of the Scottish leagues. Celtic and Rangers are suffocating Scottish football.

If the OF want to join the English Pyramid then you can start from the bottom. When i say the bottom i mean around Northern Premier League Premier Division (Evo-stik).
