Based on what happened after the red cards they deserved it. Before that Arsenal defended well and Barcelona weren't clinical. Sure Arsenal didn't have shots but Barcelona weren't taking theirs anyway. The floodgates opened after the red card.....I don't think it's that much of a coincidence.

But, what about the goals which should have been given in the first game but were incorrectly ruled out? Also, Barca were slowly working their way into the game, who's to say they were not going to finish off a chance before the red card?

If's and But's beside Barca deserved to win based on both legs. no discussion needed really.

Well it's cost Arsenal's 2011 Champions League, soon as the draw came out, the writing was on the wall. That game in Shaktar has proved costly, 'cos finishing 2nd in the group, got them tied against Barcelona.

I don't really want to get drawn in on the whole referee thing, but, if people are saying that he should have been sent off anyway for slapping Alves, then Abidal should have been sent off for grabbing his throat and Busquets should have been sent off for slapping him as well.

Abidal raised his hand to Van Persie, why aren't you mentioning that? Diaby was sent off something similar on Joey Barton. Every time an Arsenal player touched a Barca player it was a foul, not the same the other way round. We lost because they were the better team but we could of pinched it.
