I wonder what the reaction of the crowd will be like on Wednesday if he starts, after handing in a transfer request.

No?
Nah, time to accept it's true.
Still nowt official. Nobody has come out and said anything. Just Sky and their sources and a bunch of journos on twitter.
There's quotes from the club mate in Sky source.

I can imagine Torres walking into Kennys office (ignore what time it is ) and handing him a letter.
Kenny just reads it, sighs, grabs Torres, bends him over and shoves the request up his ass.

Not seen it, so dunno. Either way, I still think he'll stay. Just needs to sort his head out. Stevie did.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
If he is leaving do you really believe that? I think it was at the very least decent of him to wait til you agreed the deal for Suarez. It like he wouldn't consider leaving until Liverpool had a deal for a new striker sorted.Jamie wrote:Scouser_Dave wrote:Don't know what's worse keeping Torres' with him wanting to play for Chelsea or selling him to them.
Same here. Will feel sick watching him play for us from now on if he does stay, but he's left us with no time for a replacement.

RT @JohnSinnott: #lfc statement "Fernando under long-term contract. Club expect him to honour commitment he made to #lfc + its supporters."
Reina and Kenny need to sort him out.

What is a point in a transfer request if the club can reject it?

Torres left althletico for us, he'd easily do the same to us.

Suarez had nothing to do with Torres, he wasn't bought as a replacement.

Yeah quotes came out of your club saying he handed in a written transfer request and Liverpool have said no and expect him to honour his contract.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Happened with Rooney, happened with Tevez and now happening with Torres. Don't sell him and let all those involved put a shoulder around his arm. The lad has probably had promises undelivered the last few years but Suarez has proved we are on the up. Keep him, give him a hug and hope for the best.

Clue is in the question. It's a request. He's basically asking if he can go.

He'll stay. We won't sell him now and by the time the summer comes round, he'll have sorted his head out.

Would be interesting to see if Torres is at Goodison to see his new team play tomorrow.

Honestly Dave, he'll have to stay now, Liverpool will make him, I'm sure he'll have to backtrack after the transfer window closes.. don't you think?Scouser_Dave wrote:kyro7 wrote:He'll do a Rooney and backtrack, then try win the fans round again.
