Tbf Liverpool have won when you haven't predicted them to win in their last 2 match threads.

I predicted them to beat Fulham, not in the match thread though.The-Reporter wrote:Tbf Liverpool have won when you haven't predicted them to win in their last 2 match threads.

What's changed Dave? 'Cos thats what you posted on the 9th Janaury, when Torres came out and commited his future to the club, so I ask, whats changed?
I did expect him to until now. No noise coming from the Torres camp to dampen the speculation is worrying me.
He never said anything in the summer either remember.

Latest from the times is 40m cash plus Sturridge.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
And in the bizare, unlikely scenario he does want to leave, it won't happen this January anyway, no way will we let him leave so it doesn't matter. And then hopefully if we play well for the next 6 months and sign a few more players in the summer, he'll change is mind. IF it is true, then we need to fuckin' stamp our authority and have a firm word with the lad and let him know the score.
United did it with Rooney when he wanted to leave and City did it with Tevez when he wanted to leave.

Liverpool should say no to Sturridge and say add on another 60 million, then they'll think about it.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
IF he does want out, say no to the 40 mill and get the 50 mill from this "release clause" in the summer.....
Give City a chance to come in and drive the price up another 15 mill.
Also, if he requested a transfer to leave us in this shit, 3 days to replace him (Suarez took 3 weeks) then he's a fuck.

Clearly wasted it
That's why he was last year's FA cup top scorer then?

Apparently the buy out clause of 50M is in Torres' contract. Purslow added it when Torres' deal was renewed.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
Thing is we'd probably pay 60 million so you're losing out either way. Apart from the fact that you're 60 million up.
Even that you won't get it all straight away.
