I'm not saying it doesn't work. I'm saying it's fucking tedious, awful to watch and often times induces one to consider suicide. Thus, it's not surprising that they don't have a broader fan base. There's nothing whatsoever to like about Man City unless you are from the City of Manchester or you're a Neanderthal errrrr Carlos Tevez fan.

We've scored more goals than Spurs this year. We generally only grind out results against the top 4.

Doesn't matter. Spurs at least try to score. And their games are exciting, full of high-paced end-to-end action, win, lose or draw. Everytime I watch City, they play 3 holding mids (eventhough they have a slew of wonderful attacking midfielders) and they park until they can spring Tevez for a counterpunch. It's terrible football. Good team, terrible entertainment.

If you watch us play anyone but the top 4 you'll see that we play possession football with lots of passes. I'm guessing you watched the Arsenal game and are basing your opinion on that, when that is in-fact the most defensive we've played this year. Watch the game against Bolton. Bolton are an attacking team, but from the off we looked to play football and produced 'the most one sided 1-0 ever'. It could have been about 5-0.

Tbh, I'd rather win 1-0 playing shite football than lose going all guns blazing to score.

I admit that I don't watch a lot of their games anymore because I'd rather put my nutsack in a meatgrinder that watch Man City play. I watched them earlier in the season but I lost interest. I watched the Arsenal game because Arsenal is fun. And I'm not just talking about how many goals you score, either. I'm talking about the style. It's negative football even though that team is more than readily equipped to play fluent attacking football like Arsenal plays or like Chelsea played at the start of the season. All those strikers and they rarely use more than one at a time. I watched the Birmingham City game. Puked. They play 4-5-1 at home against Birmingham City? Come on. Put some of those strikers on. Play football with that team.

I agree. And let me specify that I'm approaching this entirely as an unbiased observer. I don't give a shit if Man City wins or loses. Nothing against them in particular. This is purely about their aesthetic presentation. Like I wrote last time...good team, but tedious to watch.

If I was a fan, I'd be pleased. The results have been good and considering Man City's history, this is the best season they've had in a long time. However, I would be wondering if we were getting as much as we could get. Man City shouldn't be pissed about being second. On the other hand, they spend all that dough, they have all that talent, second place shouldn't really be good enough, should it?

Yeah, thing have changed a lot since the start of the season. I would say the Birmingham game was a turning point, because that was pretty bad. I wasn't convinced at all at the start, but now I'm getting there.

That's because the Mancs are gloryhunters - as soon as Man City overhaul United, there will be a swap.

It's a tuesday evening in the FA cup, never going to get the best crowd. This is actually the first home game I've missed this season because my dad is working Sad

Also that picture is bollocks, nearly every home game in the league is a sellout, kids for a quid was in the cup and a few years ago.
