Yeah it's frustrating. Simao and Alves are two public deals, probably more under the surface that we fucked up.

Both slid into mediocrity. They're both still decent players but nothing special really.

The Ronaldo thing is balls. Both Parry and Ged wanted him, but after we'd spent £15m or whatever on Diouf/Diao the funds weren't there and we stalled instead of taking a gamble on him.

Then United blew us out of the water.


Although Parry really fucked us over with him missing Villa/Alves/Simao and one other 'unamed target'.
