Bullet dodged then.
We don't need unproven managers like Klopp or Coyle. We need managers that are proven at the top level of football.
In fairness, Klopp is doing wonders at Dortmund - playing some beautiful stuff as well, and he's brought in a few players himself that have torn the league apart. Might not be he most experienced, but he's the better of a lot of people we could get.
Could be just a one season man though. Would rather we didn't take the risk with managers like that and went for experience or one with at least a couple of seasons fighting at the top level under their belt. If we don't aim for managers like that then we will be stuck in mid table for a long time.

Oh yeah, I agree with what your saying. Just think Klopp deserves a bit more credit for his abilities than what you're giving him. He's in the 'Wenger mould' a few reports have suggested.

Deserves credit yeah but not enough to warrant him being linked with a job like ours.
Probably just media bollocks anyway. Picking out managers that are overachieving with average sides. Hodgson mark II if yer like.

Yeah, true. He wouldn't join us anyway, he'll be at Dortmund for a while.

I was looking round some FM sites, and there is a lad offering to create databases, so I asked him if he could make an all-time LFC team.
I said I would get back to him on which players I would like to be in the team, if any of you play it, who do you want to be in it?

Pepe Reina - "I'm tired of rumours linking me with many teams in England and abroad," he told the Daily Star.
"I am a man of my word and commitment. I will honour my contract with Liverpool. Stories of these offers are not true. I have not spoken to anyone - ever - and I am 100 per cent a Liverpool player."

Liar, Fergie paid him to say that so we get interest off him then he's replacing VDS.

Yes. Without a shadow of a doubt.
He's broken all those records with an average Liverpool bar one season out of 5/6.
The other goalkeepers made their records whilst playing for the best Liverpool side ever, the Liverpool who were winning everything.
Which makes Pepe's achievements even more spectacular.

I'm just watching the Wigan vs Newcastle game. Roy Hodgson and Damien Comolli were both sat next to each other in the crowd talking and watching the game.

Maybe they went their with the intention of watching either of them, and thought they might as well enjoy the game.
