Tbh, as soon as Arsenal "grow some balls" and sort out that defence, they'll win something. It'll be mad if they don't win the Carling Cup at least this season.NGreat wrote:The-Reporter wrote:It confuses me why you would want a manager back who took you to the worst position since the start of premier league history.
Because he won the champions league 5 years ago?
It confuses me why you would want to keep a manager who hasn't won anything for nearly 6.
Oh wait, the Emirates Cup. Never mind.

Danny wrote:Yeah, some of the stuff he said was right. I started cracking up at the start though "They are nervous, because we are top"Dan wrote:Tbh, he was right.
And had the ref not been a cunt, we'd have beaten Stoke.
Fergie had clearly got to him though. Almost as good as Keegan's in 95/96, said he would rise above it then he ends with "I'd love it if we beat them, LOVE IT!" and "They've still gotta go to Middlesbrough and get something". Yeah, and we did you idiot.
That's Rafa telling you to fuck off .

We fell back due to not adding to the squad, while teams like City, and Tottenham strengthened theirs.
Also, we almost never had our strongest starting 11 last season.

You can't expect to play your strongest 11 though.. we haven't played ours once this season.Bogdan wrote:The-Reporter wrote:It confuses me why you would want a manager back who took you to the worst position since the start of premier league history.

All I want for Christmas is a CONCACAF Champions League spot. An MLS Cup wouldn't be so bad either.

'Because he won the Champions League 5 years ago?" isn't a question. However, I'll do my best to answer it for you Mr.Reporter. First, here's a cup of tea.
He inherited an average squad, won the Champions League against the odds. Moved our club to #1 in the UEFA Rankings for the first time ever. Finished 08/09 season wthour highest points tally ever. Re-built the squad and bought in players such as Alonso and managed to sell him for three times he price we originaly paid. Turned us into one of Europes' strongest teams.
Remember all that..?
..Of course you don't you are blinded by that season and all the media shite.
'haha deluded scouser he came 7th last season idiot"

But you can't have Arsenal without youngsters or injuries in the same sentence.
