Glen Johnson was definitely the biggest problem with the team.

We have been terrible with only one striker up front. At this point we should always be lining up with two up top, even if it means playing someone out of Pos.

Will he do that at Liverpool under Rodgers? Maybe. Personally I think Liverpool are signing him because they've exhausted their search for a striker and they're just going to have to settle for him. Less than 3 weeks ago Rodgers ruled out signing him
http://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/aug/03/liverpool-not-sign-milan-mario-balotelli-brendan-rodgers
Since then you haven't been linked with him at all and instead but linked with numerous other targets that have all failed to come to fruition. Seems pretty clear that when Rodgers said that in early August he was under the illusion that Liverpool could do better. Now that you've failed to attract any big name strikers you're just going to have begrudgingly take him as a last resort.
Or he was just doing a Mourinho.
Will be able to tell when he's questioned about it in his next press conference. If a smug smile emerges, or a wink, that'll say it all.
Lol, Rodgers just admitted Balotelli was not 1st choice and just a panic buy

It would be funnier if Arsenal were doing really well, but they're not. It's likely that we'll both be on 10 points by the end of this weekend, and we both have 3 points in the CL group too.

At least Arsenal have looked like they have some sort of game plan and have had a few good games. We have had one good performance and look like a pub team without Sturridge.

Clearly but Daniel up front will not solve our problems. Its not like our problems are Mario being shit (which isn't even true). Our attack seems to be completely useless when we only have body up front, we need another one to create space.

Re: Liverpool FC Official Thread
I wish last season had never happened. I was content, I was comfortable with being a upper-midtable team. I was growing accustomed to watching us once a week, making self-defeatist comments for 90 minutes, then getting on with the rest of my life for the other 166.5 hours in the week. I revelled in my self-deprecation online. Then last season happened, and our results began to matter again. Now we are rubbish again, and because we were almost relevant for 2/3 months, people abandoned their growing indifference to our troubles and are now enjoying them like they did in 2010. I just want to slide back peacefully into irrelevance, I don't want for us to fall just short of 4th place this season, I want us to flounder and plunge to a 10th place finish so everything can be back to normal.

We did OK before Suarez joined last season. Not saying we're gonna start winning but I think the performances will be better up front.

We'll be a lot better if lambert or balo play up front as well. Tottenham, our best game this season was with two up front, and sturridge magically got better against southampton when lambert came on as well.
Hopefully i'm wrong though, but from what i've seen. We look terrible with only one up front now teams know what to expect from us.

It'll be close. They're shit too.
I'm just shocked that we're on level points with Arsenal.

A flashback to RAWK's reacting to Suarez's racial abuse of Evra? No? The biting incident? The second biting incident?
No, they're talking about that absolute devil Roy Hodgson.
