MLS no fluke. Keano smashed a hat trick in 18 minutes against Gibraltar.

They lost to Poland for the first time ever in a competitive fixture, I am shocked that this really is a first time thing.SBSP wrote:Germany losing to Poland.

Germany don't lose many competitive fixtures. I just looked it up, and the only team to have beaten Germany more than once in World Cup and Euro qualifying is Northern Ireland.

Re: Euro 2016 Qualifying thread
Netherlands are an average team who overacheived in the World Cup thanks to luck/van Gaal. There was a point where people weren't even expecting them to get out of the group ahead of Spain and Chile. On the other hand, Iceland have looked solid in all their games so far and are yet to concede a goal.

Re: Euro 2016 Qualifying thread
Today was a fun day of qualifiers that included 30 goals which is by far the most in these recent rounds of qualifiers over these last few weeks.

Re: Euro 2016 Qualifying thread
Does anyone here find certain countries so bad that it becomes good? I feel that way with San Marino as I watch all the games I can find due to my morbid fascinations about seeing them fail. Also a San Marino goal is something very special that cannot be missed.

John O'Shea on his 100th cap for Ireland pegs Germany back with a superb deft volley in injury time. What a player, what a career.

Huge point for us. Would have been better for us had the Irish not grabbed a jammy equaliser.

John O'Shea lead Ireland to a win against Germany, I don't like Scotland and I watched the game in a Krakow bar.

Did you expect anything less from the world's most complete player?

I thought you might have been because you're Irish and you've lived in England and now you're in Poland.
