Crump, you are not an introvert.

Well there's no one or the other, it scales. You might be moderately introverted. I, like I mentioned before, think I'm strongly introverted. It's weird because I don't seek out human interaction as much as other arguably more normal people do.Sean wrote:Dagbon wrote:Some of you must be lying, or at least not aware of what being introverted is. I dunno, Im somewhere in the middle then. I mean outside of my friend group Im not a big socialiser and would prefer to be by myself.
I'd argue the only thing that affects is how shy you are. Like I definitely was shyer and more awkward than I am now, but I'm still Introverted. I'd argue that Introversion/Extroversion is intrinsic, and people who claim to change from Introvert to Extrovert(note its never Extro to Intro), were just shy extroverts who broke out of their shell.Zzonked wrote:Dagbon wrote:Some of you must be lying, or at least not aware of what being introverted is. I think spending time around others can help you get away from that, assuming being introvert is something you want to change.
I spend a lot of time with my housemates this year and I think it's made me better at talking to people.

Yes, you tell stories and your greatest desire is to hit the town and socialize. You highly value human contact and I'd say anything you classify as introversion is something you're shy or insecure about.crump wrote:Dagbon wrote:Some of you must be lying, or at least not aware of what being introverted is. I guess I'm not that much of one really
How can you tell though? Just from how I am on the forum?

Humans do value human interaction, it's one of our most valued traits.
I love the whole process of getting ready to go out?
How many people have gelled their hair then washed it out and restyled it?
