    I would say both.

I can start off slowly but then I get drunk like really quickly so I soon turn into an extrovert.

The other night at that party I'm the guy who just shakes hands with everyone and says hello to everyone, I've never had someone get funny about it they all seem to to like it and I just say how are you. I don't know what it is I just like to come across a friendly guy.

Introvert trying to break out of introvertism. Not fully introvert though, I enjoy socializing and generally I'm pretty good at it, I just doubt myself too much and write myself off too much. So basically I think of something to say to a girl, write it off as stupid, and never bother trying. Sucks.

Interesting. I class myself as a strong introvert, and I attributed that to my lack of desire for clubbing and the sort. If other introverts do it then maybe I'm just lame.

The only thing that makes me introvert is my shit dancing.

I just jam with my hands up in the hair rocking around though.

Some of you must be lying, or at least not aware of what being introverted is. It's a need to be alone. If you recharge by being alone then you're an introvert. If you recharge by socializing you're an extrovert. There's a difference between being introverted and shy.

Crump, you are not an introvert.

I find it pretty easy to dance along to songs, I can sort of tell where they're going and how to dance along. I just don't have very many dance techniques, so It's just the kind of fist bumping shit and whatever.

I think spending time around others can help you get away from that, assuming being introvert is something you want to change.

I spend a lot of time with my housemates this year and I think it's made me better at talking to people.

Well there's no one or the other, it scales. You might be moderately introverted. I, like I mentioned before, think I'm strongly introverted. It's weird because I don't seek out human interaction as much as other arguably more normal people do.

It helped with me because I switched schools at Year 10 which was difficult when everyone had established groups, I had to get stuck in at the deep end.

Believe it not, from this forum etc I'm a really shy person and was until probably last year when I started work at McDonalds gave me alot of confidence in talking to complete strangers, striking up conversation and just basically been more confident in my self.

I'd argue the only thing that affects is how shy you are. Like I definitely was shyer and more awkward than I am now, but I'm still Introverted. I'd argue that Introversion/Extroversion is intrinsic, and people who claim to change from Introvert to Extrovert(note its never Extro to Intro), were just shy extroverts who broke out of their shell.

Introverts just need to try mind altering drugs, works a treat. Even the deepest introvert will be shacking out with the best of them after a few lines.

Possibly. It just gets you more used to being around people though. Surely if you stay around people all the time that will become your natural state and you'll feel happier like that.

Yes, you tell stories and your greatest desire is to hit the town and socialize. You highly value human contact and I'd say anything you classify as introversion is something you're shy or insecure about.

Given Bogdan's theory, I'd just say I'm a pretty shy, insecure extrovert. I spent most of time alone, but then again that falls down to the aforementioned problems, not being an introvert. I spend most of my time alone, but it's not really how I want to live my life. Laughing

    Interesting observations, mf.

Humans do value human interaction, it's one of our most valued traits.

I love the whole process of getting ready to go out?

How many people have gelled their hair then washed it out and restyled it? rofl

I do that all the time with my hair, in the end give up and go over with the simple combover style fringe.

My hair is pretty thick as well so I have to use loaaaaaads of gel if I want to do anything with it.

The best one I've done is ring of fire, it doesn't sound funny but we had to name "Budget sport brands"

I tool a gulp of drink and someone said in a Jamaican accent "BIRG UPPP THE GOLAAAA TRAINERRRRRRR"

    I sprayed Fosters everywhere rofl

Then I got dared to piss off a garden wall and some guy chased us down the road. It was probably the funniest moment of my life.
