Is anyone going to University with like a target of a specific amount of money they've saved up, personal savings like?

Are there more pedos? or are there the same amount of pedos but we're just more aware of them?? Is the world genuinely a more dangerous and sinister place?
Slow down there, Grandpa. You also didn't have smartphones, xboxs, a more advanced internet age, etc.
I'm asking why it isn't deemed safe for kids to go out and play anymore.
Probably because most kids are fucking retarded these days.

What?! Because parents stop buying you stuff when you get older doesn't mean they don't love you.
I worded that wrong. What I mean is, I don't get why at a certain age a parent decides its a good idea to start taking from their own child, and to stop giving to their child. I don't pay any board, never have to either, get half my car insurance paid for, still get bought stuff randomly throughout the year and not just Christmas, had a £5.5k car given to me etc. This weekend, my mums bought me a new hat, jacket an Ralph Lauren polo totalling £132. Yet my mates parents wouldn't even buy them a pair of socks if it wasn't Christmas or their birthday.

Because most parents cant afford to provide like that for their children? Its hard enough buying food etc for their kids nevermind a car, insurance, designer clothes at the age of bloody 19 or whatever you are
Also they stop showering them in gifts/giving them everything they want to get them used to what life is going to be like. Tough love if you like. You cant rely on your mum to buy you everything forever, or are you gonna leach off your parents for as long as possible? It's part of being a man is that you go out and provide for yourself.

I'm stopping there as well if I remember rightly. Gonna be a bus job from the town centre by the looks of it. My mate was gonna drive but his car's in for service so we're on the train now.ForestLAD wrote:Uncle John from Jamaica wrote:

More championship fans from here in Manc this weekend than Man U fans lolololol.
I'll buy you a drink if I see you mf! I can't wait, feels like a Pre-lads holiday Staying in a place called Fallowfield but I've looked on google maps and it's 3 miles from city centre. Hopefully we go into the city for nightlife.Start. wrote:Forest you off to the Forest game on Saturday? I'm gonna find you and cut you.
No mf I've gave my season ticket to a mate for this Saturday as I'm in Manc Town. If I was there though I'd blast you off with a flame thrower if you tried cutting me you lil kuntcrump wrote:Does this make sense to anyone?
A few of my mates have jobs and like me have a phone contract, so it's about £25 a month. I was on the subject and just mentioned how I pay my phone bill every month.
I was astonished to find out how hardly any of my mates pay for it and their Mum's do, it seems ridiculous if you have a job and don't pay your way for things like a phone contract and still take a £20 every week or so off your Mum. I'm not saying that's bad, my Mum might sometimes give me a fiver if I go to Spoons or something.
Maybe it's just me but I can't comprehend that at all
I hate tight parents. What's the point in having kids if you stop loving them when they reach a certain age? All my mates' parents are tight cunts like that. I get called a spoilt little rich kid and when I get something new it's always 'Did mummy pay for that?'. Makes me laugh. Perks of being middle class though I suppose. Nobody forced their parents to sit at home popping out kid after kid and not getting their arse to work.

It's the age they decide you are an adult and should learn responsibilities. Don't be surprised if your parents' actions affect you later on in life.

It's hardly leaching. It's accepting gifts off generous parents.
I have my own job and pay half my car insurance, pay for the gym, pay £45 a month for my phone. Plus I pay for all travel expenses and food during the week at college. And I paid to go on holiday with my mates all by myself. So I pretty much pay out the same amount as all you guys do, yet I have generous and caring parents at the same time. #winning

I consider being on anything under £28,000 as poor.
I have high standards for myself when I'm older.

I don't have a problem if parents help out their kids financially, sort of like Forest etc.
I'm a bit jealous myself, it's just when they start boasting that pisses me off. Wankers.

You can. But if you think making £500 a week makes you poor then you're retarded.
