Song neglects his defensive duties too much, and that has cost Arsenal dearly this year, although it has had some rewards, I think the negatives outweigh them.

Whereas Mikel is almost like a 3rd CB, and usually covers for Ashley Cole.

Mikel's passing is brilliant tbf.

That's because Song plays further forward now and by the looks of it has been told to go forward a lot more.

Wenger is crap.

Mikel > Pirlo

But that's kinda the role Ancelotti wants him to play.

I think we were shown what Wenger wants from Song against Chelsea a few days ago.

I think he wants Song to bomb forward but to time his runs, as well as stay back when needed. This is to disrupt the oppositions defense I think.

He also rotated with Wilshere, with Wilshere dropping back more confidently whenever Song goes forward.

Maybe Wenger knows what he is doing with Song after all, if he performs like against Chelsea more often, then I would definitely want to see more of this.

Let's face it, Song didn't really need to do any defending against Chelsea..
