I covered hours. I did a few 9-6 shifts, but mostly it was 11/12 til 6/7.

Re: Chat Thread
Just been told that I have to stand up in morning assembly in front of the whole school to promote my 'Anime Club' activity. I feel sick. I couldn't stand up and tell the whole school to do something really cool, let alone telling them that I watch something that is stereotypically uncool/weird and telling them that i'm running an activity about it..

I'd rather fail an important exam than doing that, why are you running an activity on it? I'd probably just keep it to myself.

Whoa, that gave me dejavu. Opened like a couple of threads at once and was switching between them. Switched from the anime thread to this one.

Number one rule of Anime Club is you don't talk about Anime club. So it's your fault for letting them know.

Fuck. That. Shit.
I never went to assembly in fear of being called up the shake the head masters hand in front of the whole school for some bull shit award.
I just went to the shops, or hid in the school library. I rarely got caught. The teachers would get so pissed off at me.

Speaking of Pokemon. Was thinking about how Digimon always got this bad rep as a Pokemon rip off but now that I think about it, it's actually kinda more interesting and the monsters are cooler.

Yeah, this, I don't like people knowing I regularly post on forums, that seems nerdy enough IMO.

You're exactly the kind of narrow minded cretin that makes me nervous about doing it.
I run it because I'm in sixth form and we have to run an activity and I would rather run an activity tht I enjoy than some piece of crap that I don't look forward to doing. It's also a good experience to show people something you enjoy, and see them realise that it's not as crap as they think it is. I didn't like it about 2 years ago until my mate (who secretly liked it) said I should join, and I found that it was really good. It's better than some of the shit on tv these days that is considered 'cool'.
Anyway, as I said, I was more nervous about standing in front of the whole school.

Just be confident Cam, if you act like its something to be ashamed of they'll pick up on it.

Re: Chat Thread
Have some confidence mate! I'm sure everything will be fine, there are obviously some judgemental wankers about but if people can't or won't like you for who you truly are they are not worth your time anyway. If it's something you enjoy fairplay to you, yes it's unusual but that's no reason to be 'discriminated' by others about. I'm sure everything will be fine, Good Luck.Cam wrote:crump wrote:
