Can't be serious as Nani was the player slowing down ever attack we had when he had the ball.

Bullshit he slowed down the attack. Most of our chances came either through him or Kagawa.

Its funny how these people criticise Nani have said nothing about Valencia who has been poor in the first few games. Thought Nani was one of our best players yesterday apart from that horrendous penalty.

Nani did much worse then just miss a pen though.. sure he beat some people but his end product was ridiculous and its been like that whole season. his attitude also doesnt help

he has had i think one or two assists this season but he should have had FAR more, thats the frustration with him. his final product hasnt improved one bit for what.. like 5 years. he has had spurts of good form but never sustains it. Valencia has proven himself already, he has stepped up many times when needed. Valencia also helps out at the back ALOT more.

Nani seems to get worse every season rather then improving every season and thats why i think if he continues like this its time to sell him and buy another flair winger who can maybe reach his potential unlike nani

Yeah, Valencia's end product last night was fucking awful. Of course, only about 5 people have actually seemed to notice. Laughing

I think the only players I'd struggle to criticise from last night are De Gea and Kagawa.

Apart from the 10/11 season I don't see him as any better than what he was in 07/08.

You're daft then, from the second half of 09/10 to the first bit of 11/12 he was our best player by miles.

No, he's been much better for nearly 2 seasons.. you don't see him as any better apart from that one season lol, he's of course a choppy player but a far better one now.. in 07/08 he didn't have the same ability, not even close, he's much better now and I don't care what anyone says.

For 1 season, I agree. 08-09 he was average, had 2 good months in 09-10, excellent in 10-11, inconsistent in the 11-12 season. He's not produced much apart from that one season. What you're saying unintentionally ties in with what ViVa is saying, he has purple patches but he never keeps it up.

Yes but Nani was like that even in parts of 10/11, we know he's like that, why get rid of him when he's having a bad time when he does it often then comes back being our best player? People have been fine with Nani during times of his inconsistency because when he's on he's fucking amazing. It's like people don't know who Nani is and just watched him recently, I know you didn't say we should sell him but yeah I think it's all silly, he definitely has improved though imo, a lot.

When we get rid of him they'll all regret it when he smashes it with his new club, whatever league he's in.

Nani is a much better player than when we signed him. Every player that comes to United gains something, I think it's safe to say this is a make or break year for him and I think management and supporters are trying to figure out if his form peaked and if he is dropping off

Surprised to see people ignoring Valencia's awful contribution so far, would've been talked about more if he took the pen.

It's because Nani is the more arrogant footballer, in terms of trying things and the confidence to step up for the penalty and take it like a moron, he puts himself in the spotlight more whilst Valencia sticks on the right running and playing shit crosses, so far this season.

It's because Valencia didn't put on that bad of a performance, he stuck to the game plan , played direct man united football. And quite frankly I don't think some of the other forward players did a good enough job of getting to the end of him. He made some stunning opportunities, and never leaves us too exposed on his side defensively, one of the reasons Evra has been so shit is because Nani leaves him in 2 on 1 scenarios

Nani's work rate isn't too bad tbf, obviously isn't as good as Valencia's though.

good job Ronaldo spent most of his time on the right then. shifty

Fair point though. Having someone tracking back on the left wont stop Evra making stupid defensive decisions- like when he chose to give it to Vidic after a minute who then was lucky not to concede a pen. Neutral

his best season in terms of assists is still his first season i believe

and as i said he has gone backwards more then he has gone forward. one step forward two steps backwards as they say. this season his deliveries have been a joke, from great positions
