FS uses Rutube a lot for their Mexican Power videos.
It's a Russian site, don't think they have copyright laws over there, or you know...just laws.

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
"I did my bit dropping into a central midfield role when the team got hit by injuries last season," Rooney told the Daily Mirror, who are serialising his latest autobiography.
"The manager thinks I can do a job there and, with the likes of Tom Cleverley, Anderson, Michael Carrick and Darren Fletcher all missing games, he asked me to help out.
"When I get stuck into the action as a central playmaker, I love it.
"I get more of the ball, I'm involved loads and, after one game, I even think about playing there permanently, but only later in my career.
"Why? Well, in midfield I don't have to be as sharp as a forward. Once I feel that I haven't got the sharpness needed to get away from defenders, I'll probably drop back into midfield for a couple of seasons so I can still influence the game.
"In my heart I'd prefer it if I was playing up front, because I can still do a lot of damage, but the sacrifices don't bother me."

He geniuinely can't get away from defenders now.. he's reliant on his brilliant football mind and dropping off.Andy wrote:"Once I feel that I haven't got the sharpness needed to get away from defenders, I'll probably drop back into midfield for a couple of seasons so I can still influence the game."

Re: Manchester United FC Official Thread
I thought Rooney played really well in the central midfield last year, there was just no threat
Up top without him, he really can make brilliant long balls, I have always thought he would eventually drop back like scholes did

When I watch him there, it just doesn't suit him, but tbh, that was because we needed him up front because Welbeck and Hernandez were doing nothing.
Van Persie

Rooney is just good for those 40 yard crossfield balls, that's why people think he's a good passer. You can't play him in a two-man-midfield and expect him to do well, he won't be able to retain possession.

In full flight he's got great ball retention, but I agree of late he wouldn't.Gegilworld93 wrote:Rooney is just good for those 40 yard crossfield balls, that's why people think he's a good passer. Scholes will be long gone by the time Rooney would drop back into midfield.Andy wrote:When I watch him there, it just doesn't suit him, but tbh, that was because we needed him up front because Welbeck and Hernandez were doing nothing.
Van Persie
Nani - Kagawa - Valencia
Rooney - Scholes/Carrick
Unless we have another stupid injury crisis.

He has played centrally in a two man midfield and was fine, actually more than fine. The only thing he lacked was defensive positioning which can be taught. The reason he couldn't stay in that role was because there were no scoring threats infront of him

He doesnt regret it, he did it to get a new contract and got it. Don't be so easily duped.

he didnt get a improved contract though if anyone thinks he did then they are deluded. he rejected the contract then fergie came out and the next day rooney signed the contract. you really think we changed the terms of the contract a day after? or that fergie would speak out and then change the contract? lmao it makes no sense, if we were willing to change the contract fergie wouldnt have spoken out

So the Nani transfer broke down because Nani wanted more than what Zenit was willing to pay. It must have been a boatload because Zenit hasn't been stingy with the funds lately.

Aside from Fergie, Rooney, Rooney's agent, the board and the Glazers, does anybody really know for certain what happened?

That was also my initial thoughts , I would do the the same thing, he wants to stay at United and if they even tried
To sell me to Zenit I would ask for a ridiculous salary
