I want Liam to come in and say Berbatov would have scored 4 goals today.

My friend, he wouldn't have done, but he would have perfomed far superior than Van Persie did against Everton, as he showcased 2 seasons ago when United won 3-1 at Goodison, Van Persie's efforts against Everton were embarrassing when compared to Berbatov's.

Berbatov can easily match Van Persie for goals this year in an inferior team, but we are only starting the competition from now as Van Persie has cheated with a two game advantage thus far. From now on, Dimitar will show United what they are missing Cool

My friend, deepest apologies. My memories come from Berbatov's superb third goal which took the entire footballing world by storm. His heroics however were dampened by his teamates poor defensive display in the final few minutes.

That is what happens when the two best footballers in Manchester United combine. It is a deep shame they were not allowed to continue this act. Now we are left with scrappy Van Persie goals to watch Rolling Eyes I remember a glorious Carrick pass in the first half today, Berbatov would have finished the chance with aplomb, however van Versie knee'd the ball out clumsily for a goal kick instead Manchester United FC Official Thread - Page 8 58503

Was anyone else impressed with Hernandez? Thought he gave a good impact and was very close to score, much better than what he showed in pre-season.

yes, as one of his biggest critics i was VERY impressed. his touch was superb at times

i would start him ahead of Welbeck atm (but its still gonna be RVP and Kagawa after the break imo)

Hernandez has always known how to play football. Fergie is holding him back.

Joking aside I didn't even watch the match. Was uncharacteristically busy this morning. However, I read a few articles that had good things to say.
