No I don't I have this special way of thinking which is called common sense

Promoted clubs through the playoff system get close to that amount for the next season and more than half of it goes on wages, with UTD players on triple what most promoted players are on it's obvious it's spent on wages.

You can understand Berbatov's point though. (if he actually said it). It's not as if the Glazers suddenly thought "I'll take over this nothing club and make them champions in 4 years. ".

I don't find it too likely that Fergie can go to them and just get £45m to spend on Kagawa, RVP, Buttner and Powell, when they seem more interested in taking money out for themselves than putting money in.

It probably is, but my second point there still stands. They definitely seem more interested in taking money from us than putting it into the club.

Perhaps. But what this window shows is that they're not intent on maliciously gutting the club like many in the anti-Glazer camp would have us believe. They are at least ostensibly interested in maintaining a quality club (because it's in their financial interest to do so) and they are willing to spend significant sums to do so. That can no longer be disputed.
