It's Southampton, not exactly Manchester City and Chelsea riches Laughing

Liverpool's interest ended with Comolli and Dalglish's sackings. He said no to Spurs cos they weren't offering enough monies.

Still though, recently promoted team in a league which has a tendency to send the recently promoted teams straight back down within a few years, barring a financial collapse by another "established" team. A tad surprising.

Yeah, but the Premier League are bringing in new rules. Soon his shares will be worth fuck all until Kroenke decides to sell them to him. Fuck them all tbh.

Just gotta hope our fan share system builds more momentum and eventually we can take over that piece of shit.

I read somewhere that he basically had no interest what so ever in making money on Arsenal, he just wanted to invest in the team as a hobby and watch "his" club win trophies. He's a keen fan of football and Arsenal, and has money coming out of his ears, as do all the Gazprom executives. Which is a completely different mindset than the "don't overspend, run the club within its means" policy Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger, seems to have.

Arsenal would easily be on terms with City in spending terms with Mr. Gazprom allowed to invest. However, that would require the club to change their philosophy and business practices.

One thing's for sure is that Kroenke will sell soon. He bought shares at £11,000 each for the sole reason of making a profit. Usmanov is already offering £16,000 a share. Kroenke owns around 39,500 shares, so that's already a profit of £197,500,000.

By them caluclations, Kroenke bought his shares for £434m. Sheeeit.

He'll probably try to push Usmanov further on the price. He can afford it after all.

I don't see why Barca need him though but I can't complain if that £20m is reinvested. Bringing in Sahin on loan will be great, I just hope we buy him at the end of it, if he does well.
