Scratch du oro is Portuguese for "Golden Squad/Squad of Gold"(or something like that anyhow) it's one of Brazil's nicknames.

Scratch du plata is "Silver Squad/Squad of Silver" since Mexico won gold and Brazil won silver.

I don't know if you watched any of Mexico's games but the caricatures are some of Mexico's most popular and important players of the tournament and the head coach.

It's Luis Fernado Tena.

The dog is a famous American cartoon character, it's about melancholy dog who is incredibly pessimistic and drab. Which fits Tena perfectly, he's incredibly boring, defensive and unambitious. He kinda looks like him too.



Ironic since he's lead Mexico to winnng the Pan American games, the Toulan Tournament and now the Olympics.

Vegas is like a really perverse Disneyland. Tourist wise that is. Lots of people from all over. Met some Italian people who started talking to me. They seemed really nice but I could hardly understand them. I'm pretty bad with accents.
