Good half, hope Giroud plays more today but doubt it.
There keeper has been quite good.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Ref called it early as it was just too devastating for Koln.
Some fucking good link up play happening all over the pitch. RvP must be feeling like a mug on the bench watching all this sexy play happening without him
Cazorla is gonna be huge to the way we play this season.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Guys keep your heads, Koln are defending really shit, the last thing we need is to get our hopes too high. I personally am feeling that we have too many good midfielders
Arteta and Cazorla would be an amazing midfield pairing because they are both intelligent players and with Song behind them defending, it could work, but then you have Coquelin, who will only get better, and of course Chambo, who is looking a real threat from the middle because he has more space to work and run into..and if Wilshere ever gets to play again, even more headaches lol

Giroud looks exciting too. People on twitter talking about it, but his movement on and off the ball is great, he can hold it up, bring others into play and generally has more to his game then being a target for long balls.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
Cazorla is quality. Everything he does just oozes class and he can become the fulcrum of this team as Fabregas was before him. Giroud also looks good. His link-up play in particular is very good but he just has to be a bit more clinical in front of goal. I didn't really notice Podolski much and I fear that he may be wasted on the wing. When he came inside he looked great and that second goal was all him. Apart from that he seemed a bit ineffectual so we'll have to see what Wenger chooses to do with him.

Love to see Cazorla play with RvP second half to show him what the Spaniard can do.

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I think Podolski is intentionally quiet. Playing his old team he loves so much I imagine he'd prefer to not be brilliant in front of them

Re: Official Arsenal FC Thread
I think Cazorla can convince RVP to stay if they get game time together, but then the striker spot is RVP vs Giroud vs Podolski IMO.
#BigClubProblems
I also think Podolski is trying to keep quiet because it's his home town etc. But after he scored I thought that would've broken the ice, I think that's why he took the penalty to be honest.

Want to see Gnabry too. Hearing lots of good things about him but haven't seen him play yet. People saying he's in the same mould as Ox (well built but pacey ect)

I watched a youtube thingy on him a while ago, and he seems pretty good, reserve football is one thing and first teaming is another though I guess.

Cazorla is noticeably sublime. It's painfully obvious, what a fucking steal we got him for, I can barely believe it..
